The 2026 Australian Census is happening on Tuesday, 11 August 2026. Conducted every five years by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the Census provides an important snapshot of Australia’s people and housing, helping governments, ...businesses and community organisations plan services and make informed decisions for the future.

Everyone in Australia on Census night must be included on a Census form, and you can complete it online once you receive your Census instructions. Granville Place Shopping Centre encourages our local community to take part and make sure you are counted — every answer matters!

To prepare for these changes, Granville Place has introduced dedicated organic waste ...bins throughout the centre, along with clear waste-sorting guidance for all food retailers and staff to make compliance simple and convenient.

By correctly separating food and organic waste, retailers can meet the new requirements, reduce contamination, and contribute to a cleaner, greener Granville Place.
